What Are the Latest PFAS Risk and Policy Developments? Janet Anderson Delivers Keynote
Janet Anderson, Ph.D., DABT, of Integral Consulting will deliver the keynote speech on “Chemistry, Risk, and Public Policy: Emerging Concerns from PFAS and the Latest Developments” at a June 3–5, 2019, SUR/FIN® conference for the metal plating and surface technology industry. Attendees will learn about the chemistry and risks of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, known as PFAS, and how concerns are shaping current public and regulatory policy.
With their potential mobility in groundwater, persistence in the environment, regulatory inconsistency, and state and federal political and public attention, PFAS are a challenge to track and manage. Integral staff specialize in PFAS risk assessment and communication, management, toxicology, and treatment.
