His duties include performing technical oversight for soil and groundwater sampling, writing regulatory reports, and conducting laboratory data analysis and interpretation. Typical projects include preliminary assessment preparation, site investigation, remedial investigation, remedial action implementation, brownfields projects, underground storage tank (UST) closures, health and safety plan preparation, and groundwater-related investigations and remediation. His project management duties require client communications, proposal preparation, contractor coordination, personnel and equipment scheduling, and client and regulatory relations to complete projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

Remedial Investigation

Landfill Investigation, Pemberton Township, New Jersey Assisted in the preparation and completion of sampling plans, the coordination and management of fieldwork activities, and the execution of the onsite soil investigation of an unpermitted landfill for potential redevelopment as a grid-supplied solar field.
Industrial Facility, Howell, New Jersey Prepared a site investigation report and a remedial action work plan. Implemented the remedial action work plan, then prepared the remedial investigation report and a remedial action report for submission to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), which resulted in the issuance of an unrestricted use remedial action outcome.
Historical Fill Investigation, Metuchen, New Jersey Developed and implemented a sitewide sampling plan to conduct a historical fill investigation. The site is currently undergoing additional investigation.
Industrial Facility, Carteret, New Jersey Managed remedial investigation and remedial action activities related to technologically enhanced naturally occurring radioactive material (TENORM) as well as petroleum products for a >100-acre industrial facility. Coordinated with outside consultants and agencies; managed soil, sediment, and on-water investigations; and reviewed and interpreted data.
Wholesale Tire Distributor, Pine Brook, New Jersey Completed a groundwater and soil investigation to remediate a previously removed UST. Fieldwork included the installation of soil borings, collection of soil samples, and conversion of soil borings into groundwater monitoring wells. Coordinated the groundwater sampling of all onsite monitoring wells. Reviewed and interpreted the data to prepare a remedial investigation report and a remedial action report for submission to NJDEP.

Due Diligence

Former Petroleum Pipeline and Bulk Storage Facility, Warren County, New Jersey Prepared an extensive preliminary assessment of a former bulk petroleum storage and facility. Worked with the client, various other environmental consultants, and the landowner’s consultants to prepare an extensive preliminary assessment for a solar redeveloper.
Landfill Site Investigation, Sussex County, New Jersey Performed site investigation activities for a closed landfill to evaluate its potential for redevelopment into a site for solar arrays. Activities included monitoring landfill gasses, installing groundwater monitoring wells, and coordinating various onsite activities related to groundwater monitoring and site clearing activities.
Board of Education, New Jersey Managed and performed drinking water investigations across the school district, analyzed data, and prepared reports to comply with NJDEP regulations.
Board of Education, New Jersey Managed a historical fill investigation and prepared a site investigation report to address historical fill impacts encountered during construction.
Board of Education, New Jersey Directed the installation of temporary groundwater sampling points to evaluate the potential for groundwater impacts and potential vapor intrusion impacts at the site.
