Bingbing Owen, Ph.D., CIH Senior Scientist (856) 399-5762 Cincinnati, OH bowen@integral-corp.com
Dr. Bingbing Owen is a trained industrial hygienist, statistician, and chemical engineer with 6 years of experience. Through the course of her career, she has acquired a wide range of experience in consulting, research at the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), and work in the chemical industry.
Specifically, Dr. Owen has provided onsite industrial hygiene support to clients across a wide variety of industries and assisted clients in complying with EPA requirements for risk assessments for existing chemicals under TSCA (including exposure monitoring at multiple sites and statistical analysis of large data sets with unique challenges such as handling nondetected values). In addition, she has extensive experience in modeling inhalation dosimetry and dose-response modeling, as well as modeling indoor air.
Dr. Owen’s expertise and research interests include exposure assessment and modeling, statistical data analysis and modeling, human health risk assessment, aerosol science with an emphasis on real-time detection with low-cost sensors, and respiratory protection. She has published more than 20 abstracts and peer-reviewed publications on various occupational health-related topics. Her accomplishments in respirator-related research were recognized through the 2018 Arthur Johnson Young Researcher Award in Respiratory Protection from the International Society for Respiratory Protection.
