Served as a field scientist for the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge implosion water quality monitoring and subtidal sediment sampling. Coordinated and performed van Veen sediment sampling of the bay floor before and after pier implosions to test whether demolition activities measurably affected sediment quality. Participated in the water quality monitoring of the bay to measure effects on turbidity and conductivity in the water column from implosions.
