Mexico Oil and Gas Summit: Integral and the InTELA2 Consortium Offer a New Approach to Offshore Site Characterization
Vital industry information will be exchanged during the Mexico Oil and Gas Summit to be held in Mexico City on July 18–19, 2018. Science and engineering company Integral Consulting Inc. (Integral) will attend as part of the InTELA2 consortium, formed to provide professional services in support of oil and gas exploration in Mexican waters of the southern Gulf of Mexico. The InTELA2 team combines proven experience on projects in Mexico with the global presence and bench strength of a full-service engineering and science firm. In a paper to be published in the conference proceedings, Integral Director of Marine Science and Engineering Craig Jones, Ph.D., describes a new approach offered by the consortium to enhance site characterization efficiencies. The InTELA2 consortium brings more than 40 years of experience working in infrastructure, oil and gas, industrial facilities, manufacturing, and international development projects in Mexico. Core services include environmental, geophysical, geotechnical, and metocean data analysis, baseline surveys, and environmental and social impact assessments. Other consortium members include engineering and science firm Tetra Tech; the Enco Group, a Mexican infrastructure company; Agile Sustainability Management, a social and economic firm with extensive experience in Mexico; and LimOce, which specializes in offshore impact assessments.
The summit is crucial to understanding Mexico’s economic and environmental needs, and to creating new business opportunities in an unparalleled networking environment. Attendees from Integral will include Dr. Jones and Strategic Advisor Brenda Sanders, Ph.D.
