Integral to Present and Chair Sessions at SOT Annual Meeting

Janet Anderson, Ph.D., DABT, Philip Goodrum, Ph.D., DABT, Anthony Luz, Ph.D., and Paul DeLeo, Ph.D., will deliver poster presentations and chair two poster sessions at the Society of Toxicology (SOT) 58th Annual Meeting and ToxExpo, held in Baltimore, Maryland, on March 10–14. Presentations by Drs. Anderson, Goodrum, and Luz will span a variety of topics on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), including using biomonitoring data to address uncertainties in PFAS kinetics and exposure to mixtures, examining different approaches to risk assessment for PFAS mixtures, and deriving a chronic human health toxicity value and screening levels for perfluorohexanoate. Dr. DeLeo’s presentation will cover amendments to the Toxic Substances Control Act to address persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic chemicals—a topic on which he has recently published. The schedule for Integral’s presentations is as follows:

Monday, March 11, Poster Session 3:00–4:30 p.m.

Abstract No. 1176, Poster Board No. P201
Approaches for Assessing Perfluoroalkyl Acid Mixture Toxicity
Authors: A. Luz, J. Anderson, and P. Goodrum

Abstract No. 1188, Poster Board No. P213
Chronic Human Health Toxicity Value for Perfluorohexanoate (PFHxA) and Risk Assessment Relevant to Current Fluorotelomer-Based Chemistries
Authors: J. Anderson, A. Luz, and P. Goodrum

Tuesday, March 12, Poster Session 3:00–4:30 p.m.

Abstract No. 1905, Poster Board No. P289
Perfluoroalkyl Acid Mixtures—Data Analysis Steps to Uncover Clues Hidden in Biomonitoring Data
Authors: P. Goodrum, J. Anderson, and A. Luz

Wednesday, March 13, Poster Session 9:15–10:45 a.m.

Abstract No. 2786, Poster Board No. P290
PBT Assessment Criteria—Critical Tool or Policy Anachronism? An Analysis of Regulatory Approaches for Selection of Chemicals for Expedited Action
Authors: P. DeLeo and S. Hartigan (American Chemistry Council)
