Site Investigation

Solar Farm, Harmony, New Jersey Supported a site investigation, data analysis, reporting, and work plan development to bring a site into administrative compliance. Defined investigation objectives to remediate metal contamination in soil from historic metal recycling operations. Assisted in preparing a work plan to address impacts in areas containing environmentally sensitive natural resources.

Remedial Investigation

Groundwater Contamination, Industrial Site, Newark, New Jersey Assisted in the completion and evaluation of a high-resolution site characterization to define groundwater contamination underlying the site and model multiple comingled plumes. The investigation involved collecting and interpreting geologic, hydrogeologic, and contamination data to better understand groundwater impacts to facilitate targeted remediation.
Bedrock Investigation, Former Chemical Facility, Northern New Jersey Provided field support during open-hole borehole geophysical investigation and sampling in production wells. Completed data analysis and reporting.  
Soil Investigation, Junk Yard, Roxbury, New Jersey Assisted in the preparation and implementation of sampling plans for a site impacted with metals. Coordinated and executed fieldwork activities that included digging test pits to delineate contamination extents and implementing remedial actions through soil excavations. Demonstrated compliance with the applicable remediation standards through data evaluation and statistical analysis to issue a final remedial document for the client.

Groundwater Remediation

Groundwater Treatment System, Active Industrial Property, Maryland Collected operational data and water quality parameters to support performance monitoring and regulatory reporting for a groundwater treatment system. Completed sampling and monitoring programs to keep the site in regulatory compliance.

Remediation Construction Oversight

Property Redevelopment, Bronx, New York Served as field manager for redevelopment of a property for senior housing. Responsibilities included excavation oversight of underground storage tanks, stormwater pollution prevention plan compliance, and community air monitoring.
Former Hospital Redevelopment, Cedar Brook, New Jersey Served as field manager for redevelopment of an approximately 15-acre property for residents. Responsibilities included excavation oversight, soil capping, engineering installation oversight, stormwater pollution prevention plan compliance, and permitting.

Air Quality Monitoring

Landfill Redevelopment Projects, Southern New Jersey Conducted landfill gas monitoring for numerous landfill projects undergoing redevelopment for solar farms. Ensured regulatory compliance and receptor safety through continuous ambient air quality monitoring.

Due Diligence

Industrial Site, Burlington, New Jersey Performed Phase I Environmental Site Assessments using ASTM International’s Phase I protocol. The work applied to numerous sites, including an industrial building.
Boards of Education, Bloomfield, Linden, and Metuchen, New Jersey For numerous projects, tabulated documentation and analyzed soil, groundwater, and drinking water data from local and federal government entities.
