Bio
Ms. Katie Gallagher is a senior plant ecologist and senior ecologist. She has more than 15 years of experience working on a variety of projects in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. As a botanist, she has extensive knowledge of California’s ecology, which she uses to conduct protocol-level special-status plant surveys, develop detailed habitat maps, perform wetland delineations, map invasive species and design treatment regimes, and design and implement restoration projects. Ms. Gallagher is also a regulatory specialist with a strong understanding of the permitting process. She has acquired many environmental permits for multiple regulatory agencies and writes botanical sections of CEQA documentation.
Ms. Gallagher manages client projects from ecological and regulatory perspectives. Her role as a project manager entails designing biological monitoring methods, coordinating field work, and overseeing project teams.
Prior to joining Integral Consulting, she was a senior plant ecologist at H. T. Harvey & Associates for six years.
