Mr. Greg Webb is a senior consultant with 18 years of experience leading complex environmental and remediation projects across regulatory, industrial, and construction sectors. He specializes in project management, including contract compliance, stakeholder coordination, scope and budget control, and technical team leadership. Mr. Webb brings strong expertise in environmental construction support and field compliance, integrating discharge monitoring, job safety analysis training, soil management, and regulatory documentation into daily operations. From optimizing remediation systems (e.g., air sparging, dual-phase extraction, in situ oxidation) to maintaining NPDES and stormwater compliance, he helps clients address complex environmental challenges with precision, safety, and cost efficiency. As a health and safety coordinator, Mr. Webb supports the implementation of safety programs at both the corporate and field levels, ensuring regulatory compliance and worker protection. His background spans remediation and wastewater operations, certified laboratory management, and advanced environmental monitoring methods.
Relevant Experience
PFAS Investigation and Remediation
PFAS-Impacted Surface Water Recovery and Remediation System, New York — Project and lead remediation system manager of a multipoint, surface water recovery system associated with an aqueous film forming foam release. Led the evaluation and implementation of a pretreatment bioaugmentation system to reduce total organic carbon concentrations to increase efficacy of the PFAS treatment technology. Managed day to day performance evaluation, discharge permit compliance, and stakeholder interaction. This system has successfully treated 5 million gallons of PFAS-impacted water to a discharge limit of <2 ppt.
Groundwater Remediation
Air Sparge/Soil Vapor Extraction (AS/SVE) Remedial System Installation and Operation, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — Served as the remediation manager and lead remedial operator of a 38-point air sparge system and 9-point soil vapor extraction system to prevent offsite migration of vapor, adsorbed, and dissolved-phase benzene impacts. Currently serves as the project manager and lead technical consultant for ongoing system support and troubleshooting.
Groundwater Treatment System Operation and Management, Phillipsburg, New Jersey — Currently serves as project manager for a groundwater pump-and-treat system impacted by petroleum constituents. Responsibilities include managing targeted groundwater drawdown in fractured bedrock to enhance light nonaqueous-phase liquid recovery from extraction wells and providing weekly field monitoring of groundwater discharge parameters (pH, conductivity, and total dissolved solids) for discharge monitoring reporting to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and Delaware River Basin Commission.
Accelerated In Situ Bioremediation, Superfund Site, Pennsylvania — Served as project manager and lead remedial operator for an accelerated in situ bioremediation system designed to treat trichloroethene-impacted groundwater.
AS/SVE Remedial System Installation and Operation, Hockessin, Delaware — Supported AS/SVE system design and acted as lead installation manager, lead operator, and project manager of an interim remedial system to reduce a chlorinated solvent source impact to groundwater.
Remedial System Installation, Cincinnati, Ohio — Installed and coordinated an onsite ex situ advanced oxidation groundwater treatment system to address 1,4-dioxane.
Industrial Pretreatment System Installation and Operations, Bridgeport, New Jersey — Served as installation manager and lead operator of an industrial pretreatment system to reduce chemical tanker wash water to acceptable levels for disposal.
Remediation System Design Support, Implementation, and Operations, Newark, Delaware — Supported the system design and implementation of a large-scale remediation project to address residual soil and groundwater impacts from former paint mixing operations. Chemicals of concern included petroleum compounds, chlorinated solvents, and xylenes. The system consisted of 32 vertical SVE points, 16 horizontal SVE points, and 32 air injection points. System expansion was completed to incorporate an aquifer depression system to address a new source of water infiltration caused by nearby facility demolition.
Dual-Phase Remedial System Operation, State College, Pennsylvania — Served as the lead remedial operator and consultant for a dual-phase extraction system in a karst limestone bedrock formation located in central Pennsylvania. Implementing dual-phase operations allowed the client to successfully achieve site closure.
Multiphase Extraction System Installation and Operation, Clarksville, Delaware — Installed and operated a multiphase extraction system to remove more than 28,000 lb of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Total Phase Remedial System Operation, Millsboro, Delaware — Served as assistant operator of a large-scale, multitechnology, petroleum hydrocarbon cleanup project at an electrical generating facility.
AS/SVE Remedial System Operation, Northeast, Pennsylvania — Responsible for the operation of an AS/SVE system, augmented with an advanced chemical oxidation injection program, at a gas pipeline compressor facility.
Groundwater Extraction System Operation, Ambler, Pennsylvania — Served as safety officer and lead operator of an ex situ advanced oxidation treatment system to treat elevated concentrations of 1,2-dichloroethane.
Discharge Permitting
NJDEP-Certified Laboratory Manager, New Jersey — Manages and implements laboratory certification for NJDEP Certified Laboratory program. Requires annual NJDEP audits to verify compliance with regulations, adherence to instrumentation calibration and use, and record-keeping.
Air Quality Monitoring
Air Quality Monitoring, Gap, Pennsylvania — Conducted continuous breathing zone air monitoring for worker health and safety during roadway construction within a petroleum impacted intersection.
Air Monitoring Plan Development, New Jersey — Developed and implemented onsite air monitoring program to assure regulatory compliance and worker/resident safety during a sensitive environmental excavation project in New Jersey. Air monitoring concerns included VOCs, particulates, and nuisance odor.
Project Air Monitoring Plan (PAMP) Development and Implementation, New Jersey — Developed and implemented PAMPs at multiple remediation sites in New Jersey.
