Mr. Frank McCue is an environmental scientist with 4 years of experience in environmental media sampling, sample handling, and QA/QC for sample collection processes. He has experience in environmental investigation and monitoring techniques related to natural environments, such as wetlands and phytoremediation programs, lead and asbestos assessment programs, and compliance monitoring. Mr. McCue also has experience with remediation system construction, operation, and maintenance, including permit compliance, system optimization, and liquid nonaqueous-phase liquid (LNAPL) recovery. He has the ability to assess a situation and apply his knowledge to develop a strategy for success and reinforce teamwork and cooperation while seeing a project to successful completion. Drinking Water Lead Abatement, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — Coordinates and implements a multiyear abatement program for lead in drinking water in Philadelphia’s school district. Duties include coordination with school district authorities and facilities personnel, assessment and inventory of drinking water outlets, collection of drinking water samples, coordination with analytical laboratories, abatement activities, oversight of point of use treatment systems installation, and documentation for more than 300 schools and 6,000 identified outlets.
Site Investigation
Groundwater Sampling, Superfund Site, New Jersey — Implements a large-scale groundwater sampling program per EPA protocol at a Superfund site in New Jersey. The sampling program includes shallow, intermediate, and deep aquifer monitoring wells, surface water, and remediation system discharge locations.
Site Remediation
Multiphase Extraction, Wilmington, Delaware — Operates various in situ and ex situ remediation systems involving groundwater extraction and treatment, advanced oxidation, adsorption, air sparging, and LNAPL recovery. Chemicals treated include PFAS, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and petroleum hydrocarbons. Responsible for daily operations, preventative maintenance, compliance sampling, data collection, and system performance documentation.
