Relevant Experience
Geotechnical
Construction of Grocery Store, Pennsylvania — Conducted subgrade, rebar, concrete, and compaction inspections throughout the construction process. Worked with contractors and subcontractors to ensure the construction of the store aligned with the design plans and met all necessary requirements.
Site Remediation
Groundwater Sampling, Active Gas Stations and Refining Facility, New Jersey — Assisted with quarterly data collection of groundwater in association with environmental compliance efforts at an active refinery and active gas stations across New Jersey.
PFAS Remedial Investigation, New Jersey — Assists and leads groundwater, soil, potable well, and stormwater sampling in support of PFAS investigations.
Groundwater Monitoring Well Installations, New Jersey and Oregon — Supported monitoring well installations for PFAS and nitrate groundwater investigation.
Environmental Engineering
Remedial System Pilot Studies, New Jersey — Assisted in the planning and execution of pilot studies for a potential groundwater pump and treat and soil vapor extraction remedial system. Executed a step test and assisted in the setup and collection of data for a 24-hour pumping test. Assisted in the data collection of a soil vapor extraction test.
Operations and Maintenance on Air Sparge and Soil Vapor Extraction Remedial System, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — Conducted weekly visits to a remedial system to collect data and to ensure proper operation in association with environmental compliance efforts. Troubleshot system failures, including thermal oxidizer and air sparge compressor issues. Completed monthly reports on system operation.
Operations and Maintenance on Groundwater Pump-and-Treat Remedial System, New Jersey — Conducted biweekly visits to a remedial system to collect data and to ensure proper operation in association with environmental compliance efforts.
Optimization and Assessment Reports, New Jersey — Inspected nine remediation and hydraulic control systems at an active refining facility in New Jersey. Recorded the current state of all components in each system and assisted in providing future upgrade projects to the client.
Remedial System Expansion, Oklahoma — Supported the expansion of a groundwater pump and treat system. Responsibilities included contractor oversight for pipeline installation and horizontal well installation, management of waste production, and daily and weekly report preparation.
Operations and Maintenance on Iron Removal Pilot Study, New Jersey — Supported a pilot study to assess the efficiency of treatment methods for iron removal before and after treatment for PFAS contaminated groundwater. Responsibilities included daily operations and management, iron and chlorine sampling, and system sampling.
Site Investigation
Phase I Site Assessments, Maryland and New Jersey — Supported multiple site assessments of solar panel fields. Performed site walks to assess each field for areas of concern and supported report production.
