Integral Consulting Welcomes Jeff Davis as Principal, Expands Its Water Resource Management Practice

By R. Jeffrey Davis, P.E., CGWP, Principal, Water Resources

Integral Consulting Inc. welcomes Jeff Davis, P.E., CGWP, as a principal and leader of Integral’s growing water resource management practice. Integral and its staff have been involved in a range of water resource related projects.

“Jeff is a renowned professional engineer and hydrologist, with exceptional skills in groundwater modeling, contaminant fate and transport, and managed aquifer recharge” said Avram Frankel, Managing Principal. “We are proud and excited to bring his expertise to clients in the West and across the country.”

Integral is known for helping clients evaluate and manage surface water and groundwater resources—from hydrologic system characterization, to assessment of water quality and quantity, to planning and restoration of watershed habitats and processes. Mr. Davis brings a wealth of expertise in water management and aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) projects, along with oil and gas and energy services including permitting and modeling. His water resource solutions appropriately balance community planning needs with desired future conditions and amplify Integral’s existing services.

Mr. Davis has been involved with ASR projects for more than 15 years, including ASR projects in California, Utah, Texas, and Florida. He has developed and used numerous groundwater models for the mining industry, including projects involving environmental impact statements, environmental assessments, water management, groundwater and surface water contamination, dewatering, and water treatment at coal, aggregate, mineral, and hard-rock mines.

In addition, Mr. Davis has extensive experience with the oil and gas industry, including water supply, hydraulic fracturing, and groundwater protection for the upstream market, and he has worked on a variety of oil-release projects. Mr. Davis serves as an expert in water resource litigation matters and has been involved in evaluations under California’s Sustainable Groundwater Management Act. He has extensive knowledge of groundwater flow-and-transport principles and has led numerous workshops and classes in the U.S. and around the world.

With almost 30 years of consulting experience, Mr. Davis currently serves on the board of directors for the National Ground Water Association’s (NGWA) Scientists and Engineers Section, as well as on the NGWA’s per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) advisory group. He was one of the leads for NGWA’s Groundwater Modeling Advisory Panel and is part of the Managed Aquifer Recharge task committee.

Mr. Davis earned a B.S. and an M.S. in civil and environmental engineering from Brigham Young University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Utah, Colorado, Florida, and Texas, and a groundwater professional certified by the NGWA.

Mr. Davis is practicing from the Salt Lake City, Utah, office. He may be reached directly at jdavis@integral-corp.com.
