Bio

Mr. Jeff Seay is a senior wildlife ecologist and consulting ecologist in Integral’s San Joaquin Valley office. He has considerable expertise in avian biology and more than three decades of experience identifying birds in California. Mr. Seay has conducted avian censuses in a variety of habitats, including montane forests, riparian woodlands, oak woodlands, chaparral, grasslands, deserts, marshes, and pelagic habitats. He is a highly experienced field biologist and an expert at identifying birds of California by sight and sound.

Mr. Seay conducts general avian activity surveys, raptor-specific surveys, and preconstruction surveys for nesting birds, including for large-scale renewable energy projects. He has contributed to the biological resources sections of more than 500 EIRs and to smaller biological assessments and analyses.

Prior to joining Integral Consulting, Mr. Seay was an associate at H. T. Harvey & Associates where he worked for more than thirty years.
