Bio

Ms. Megan Jones is an environmental scientist with 8 years of experience supporting remedial and site investigations, engineering evaluations, and hydrogeologic characterization to inform conceptual site models, groundwater flow models, and remedial design. She specializes in providing technical support for multimedia investigations involving PFAS, PCBs, and dense nonaqueous-phase liquid (DNAPL). Her expertise includes managing complex field investigations, developing sampling strategies, leading multidisciplinary field teams, and interpreting environmental data. She prepares technical deliverables, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), field sampling plans (FSPs), and remedial investigation reports, and reviews engineering drawings to support sampling program design.

Ms. Jones has extensive field experience, overseeing environmental drilling programs utilizing direct push, hollow-stem auger, and sonic drilling technologies for monitoring well installation and subsurface characterization. She has managed the collection of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, industrial effluent, stormwater, soil, sediment, porewater, surface water, and groundwater samples in support of complex site investigations. She is proficient in ArcGIS and LogPlot, using these applications to develop technical figures.
