Welcome to Our Summer 2021 Interns!

We are pleased to announce that five interns have joined our staff for the summer in 2021. These hires bring a variety of skill sets and will provide valuable support throughout the company.

headshot of Erin BrinkmanErin Brinkman: Ms. Brinkman holds a B.S. in geology from Georgia Southern University and is currently obtaining her M.S. in geology at the University of Utah. Her research specializes in water contaminant transport and removal. Prior to graduate school, she worked for 2 years as a field geologist and a drill rig operator assistant. Ms. Brinkman has experience with geotechnical sampling, overseeing water well installations, well monitoring, and field mapping. She will be working in Integral’s Hydrology, Geosciences, and Chemistry practice.

headshot of Adam PomeroyAdam Pomeroy: Mr. Pomeroy received his B.S. in environmental science in 2020 from Oregon State University where he gained experience with hydrogeology, mineralogy, and geographic information systems. During college, he worked for an Oregon cider manufacturer, 2 Towns Ciderhouse, where he helped institute sustainable and time-saving practices that are still being used today. Mr. Pomeroy will be working in Integral’s Hydrology, Geosciences, and Chemistry practice and will be helping extensively with summer 2021 fieldwork.

headshot of Brianna RiveraBrianna Rivera: Ms. Rivera earned her B.S. in biology from University of Pittsburgh. She is currently a toxicology Ph.D. candidate at Oregon State University investigating exposure to chemical mixtures in indoor environments and approaches to characterizing the hazards of environmental mixtures. She has experience in environmental sampling, in vitro toxicology, and human health risk assessment. Ms. Rivera has performed analysis of multidimensional data sets and is trained in good laboratory practices and QA/QC procedures. She will be working in Integral’s Toxicology, Health, and Ecological Sciences practice.

Larissa Sleeper: Ms. Sleeper is currently obtaining her M.S. from Portland State University where she focuses on geochemistry and data management. She earned a B.S. in geology from Western Washington University where she attended field camp and completed a thesis in geochemistry. She has a strong background in conducting geological investigations, performing fieldwork, and organizing large data sets. She will be working in Integral’s Hydrology, Geosciences, and Chemistry practice, providing support for sediment, soil, and groundwater sampling.

headshot of Savannah WellmanSavannah Wellman: Ms. Wellman is currently a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder where she is earning a B.A. in psychology with minors in speech, language, and hearing sciences and in business. She has almost 2 years of experience as a human resources coordinator for the University of Colorado, including payroll, onboarding, and other human resources processes for student and non-student employees. She will be working in Integral’s Human Resources Department.
