Mr. James Wilhelm is a scientist with a background in coastal ecology, limnology, and tropical biology.  He has experience assisting in ecological and human health field studies in the Chesapeake Bay, Hackensack River, Hudson River, and Delaware River watersheds, as well as tropical marine and estuarine ecosystems.  As an environmental scientist, Mr. Wilhelm has served as a field team lead, field assistant, and technical writer and reviewer for several investigative efforts at Superfund sites.  He has assisted in the collection of groundwater, porewater, sediment, soil, surface water, and biological samples to support ecological and human health risk assessments, and has conducted habitat assessments in wetland, upland, and coral reef environs.  Mr. Wilhelm also has experience assisting in database preparation and strategy formulation for multiple natural resource damage assessments, as well as tracking state and federal regulatory efforts that address emerging contaminants.
