Dr. Graham Ansell is an organic chemist with more than 20 years of combined experience as a pharmaceutical research chemist and litigation support scientist. He worked on multidisciplinary teams in small molecule pharmaceutical research and development for new treatments for hepatitis C, rheumatoid arthritis, and multiple sclerosis. In addition, Dr. Ansell specializes in the analysis of historical chemical manufacturing operations, historical chemical waste disposal practices, the formation of dioxins/furans from manufacturing processes, and analysis of dioxin/furan congener and homolog profiles. He has provided chemical and technical support for a CERCLA environmental litigation case involving chemical manufacturing, drum reconditioning, and waste disposal, as well as support for patent infringement cases, patent due diligence, and freedom to operate analyses. His experience in CERCLA cases includes expert report and rebuttal report analysis, both for client experts and opposing counsel experts, as well as chemical fingerprinting for dioxin/furans, evaluation of chemical fate and transport, and analysis of historical chemical manufacturing and waste disposal practices.
