Evaluation of environmental justice (EJ) and other equity considerations is increasingly required under various regulatory programs and is one social aspect relevant to some environmental, social, and governance voluntary disclosure frameworks. Incorporation of these considerations during the project development process, and as a component of broader strategic planning, is therefore becoming increasingly important.
