Grace Chang, Ph.D., of Integral Consulting Inc. (Integral), was recently appointed associate editor of Oceanography, the official magazine of The Oceanography Society (TOS). The publication contains peer-reviewed articles that chronicle all aspects of ocean science and its applications.
“It is an honor to serve The Oceanography Society in this new role, and to assist in maintaining its strong reputation through this high impact publication,” said Dr. Chang.
As a marine scientist at Integral, as well as an associate researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Dr. Chang offers a unique academic and industry perspective to the Oceanography editorial board. She is recognized for her continued advancement of analytical methods in hydrodynamics and particle characterization through optics and acoustics, as well as for environmental research and monitoring. She has authored or coauthored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and has frequently reviewed materials for professional journals and national funding agencies. Dr. Chang has published several papers in Oceanography and has been a member of TOS since 2005.
