NRD Litigation: Judi Durda to Present on Scientific Developments Involving PFAS

By Judi L. Durda, Chief Strategy Officer

Judi Durda, Integral Executive Vice President and Principal Toxicologist, will present at Law Seminars International’s Advanced Conference on Natural Resource Damages (NRD) Litigation—a premier conference for exploring the latest developments in NRD policy and enforcement.

On Thursday, August 12, Ms. Durda will speak at a 1:15 p.m. Mtn. panel session titled “New Regulations and the Impact on Claims Involving Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS).” She will present “Ecotoxicity: Update on the Science.”

Other topics to be discussed during the panel session include how the political landscape for PFAS litigation has evolved over time; an update on the Biden Administration and state initiatives to regulate PFAS and adopt drinking water and other standards, and how that affects NRD claims; and an update on litigation strategies for PFAS litigation across the country.

The August 12-13, 2021, conference explores the impacts of a new political landscape, plus ambitious climate, infrastructure, and social justice agendas, on NRD claims, defenses, and selection of remedies. Participants will have the opportunity to earn continuing legal education credits, and will also be able to attend sessions via webcast.
