Integral’s Participation at 2017 CEMS Conference a Success!

CEMS ConferenceIntegral Consulting congratulates all participants of the 2017 Fall Conference of the Colorado Environmental Management Society (CEMS) for contributing to an informative and thought-provoking event. Integral remains a proud member and active participant in CEMS, a nonprofit organization that provides a forum for exchange of information pertaining to environmental management issues in Colorado.

“As conference chair, it was an honor and pleasure to organize the conference in a unique venue [Sports Authority Field at Mile High]. The event was very well received by all attendees, with feedback provided that the conference was an excellent opportunity to engage with colleagues, make new connections, and hear speakers on a variety of topics important to environmental management in Colorado.” said Steve Brauner, Ph.D., P.E., of Integral.

Integral Principal Avram Frankel, P.E., delivered a presentation on perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), a new class of emerging contaminants. During his talk, Mr. Frankel discussed the uncertainties of PFAS toxicology, a survey of domestic and international regulations, and evolving real-world applications of PFAS treatment technologies.
