Integral Staff Join Other Environmental Professionals in WIE Virtual Event

Integral’s Laura Jones, Jane Sund, Manon Tanner-Dave, Alex Myers, Blair Paulik, Amber Lutey, Jessie Powell, and Judy Breen recently attended a virtual networking event sponsored by the Women in the Environment (WIE) Portland, Oregon, chapter. Led by Kelsey Glasser, the owner and sommelier of Arden in Portland, the virtual event included a discussion of the practice of organic and biodynamic farming as well as a tasting of two wines by women winemakers. The evening event was a welcome chance to join other environmental professionals in a virtual space.

WIE’s mission is to further professional development and opportunities for women in the environmental field. Integral is a corporate sponsor of many of its events, and several Integral staff are in WIE leadership roles. Mala Pattanayek is the chair of the Bay Area Networking Program and Carolina Zuri is the chair of the Bay Area Mentoring Program; both are WIE Board members. WIE fosters relationships, mutual respect, and diversity among environmental professionals through networking, education, and mentoring.
