Integral Principals Erin Palko and Keith Brodock to Teach PFAS Course

PFAS—per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances—are a class of man-made chemicals not naturally found in the environment. With the adoption of remediation standards for select PFAS compounds, licensed site remediation professionals (LSRPs) and other environmental professionals must ensure they understand the basics regarding these compounds and how to address them.

On December 1, 2020, Erin Palko, P.G., LSRP, and Keith Brodock, P.E., P.P., will teach an online introductory course that will review PFAS basics, including terminology, historical uses, and the latest regulatory information. They will also cover technical considerations in terms of preliminary assessment, site investigation and remedial options. Both instructors have experience on sites impacted with an array of chemicals, including PFAS.

This training class is an excellent opportunity for LSRPs to increase their awareness of PFAS and obtain useful knowledge of how to address them at their sites.
