Science and engineering firm Integral Consulting Inc. is expanding its Toxicology, Risk Assessment, and Product Safety team with the hiring of Kristian Fried, Ph.D., Dr. rer. nat., DABT, and Blair Paulik, Ph.D. Both bring a range of skills to help Integral’s clients manage environmental and health risks and liabilities, and ensure the safety of new and existing products.
Dr. Fried joins the firm as a senior consultant. A diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology, and with doctoral degrees in both chemistry and toxicology, he brings more than 15 years of experience in the chemical and consumer products safety and stewardship sectors, environmental toxicology, and applied regulatory toxicology. Dr. Paulik joins Integral as a project scientist. She received her doctoral degree in environmental and molecular toxicology from Oregon State University and brings 4 years of post-graduate experience in environmental toxicology, with a focus on human health and ecological risk assessment.

About Kristian Fried
Prior to joining Integral, Dr. Fried served as head of global product safety for oral care at Colgate-Palmolive, where he developed and implemented strategies for regulatory submissions and guided the global product safety team. He has contributed to consortiums including Cosmetics Europe, the Consumer Healthcare Products Association Proposition 65 committee, and the Personal Care Products Council’s green chemistry task force.
In addition to his project experience, Dr. Fried serves as an adjunct Assistant Professor at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Dept. of Pharmacology and Toxicology. About Blair Paulik
Prior to joining Integral, Dr. Paulik was an environmental toxicologist at a regional environmental consulting company based in the Pacific Northwest, where she provided support on projects evaluating organic and inorganic contaminants in soil, sediment, stormwater, and groundwater. She also is skilled in risk communication and has led training courses throughout the world. In addition, Dr. Paulik is active in the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, where she holds several leadership positions and has received Presidential Citations for Exemplary service for four consecutive years.
