Environmental Remediation: Erin Palko to Teach Course on Conceptual Site Models

Erin Palko, Senior Consultant and Regional Director at Integral Consulting Inc., will teach a course on how to develop a conceptual site model (CSM) as part of the continuing education program for the New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) Association. On July 23, Ms. Palko, along with instructor Michael Gonshor of Roux Associates, will teach an online course from 1:45 to 4:00 p.m. EDT.

The CSM is a critical tool that is used to identify sources, receptors, and pathways associated with an area of concern and/or site. It can assist in effective communication about a project by depicting critical issues and processes identified at a site, thus supporting the remedial decision-making process. This course will include the basics of developing a CSM and its components, resources to support a CSM, and case studies.
