Integral has supported nonprofit clients on a variety of initiatives. Using our skills in watershed protection and management, we have coordinated and facilitated the efforts of a nonprofit watershed stakeholder organization in Colorado to develop a pH total maximum daily load allocation and nutrient standards for two semiurban reservoirs and associated streams and canals. Our support has included developing lake and watershed plans, water modeling, creating public outreach materials, and facilitating meetings. We also have supported initiatives on behalf of nonprofit groups to improve children’s health, using our scientific expertise to evaluate nutritional benefits of school lunch offerings and provide guidance to nonprofit agencies. Integral is renowned for the depth and breadth of its technical expertise. Equally important for many nonprofit enterprises are the skills and experience we offer in engagement with diverse stakeholder groups, facilitation of open and participatory decision-making, and effective communication with technical and lay audiences.
