Integral Consulting Inc. is an international science and engineering firm providing multidisciplinary services in the fields of environmental science and engineering, health, ecology, aquatic sciences, geology and hydrology, atmospheric science, and environmental chemistry. We are currently seeking a full-time Senior-Level Sediment Engineer or Consultant for our Seattle, WA or Portland, OR office.
Qualified candidates should have at least an M.S. degree in geotechnical, coastal, environmental, chemical, civil, or related engineering field, and be a licensed P.E. with recognized expertise in the design and implementation of sediment remediation projects. Eligible candidates should have 15+ years of in characterization, management, and remediation of contaminated sediments, including applied knowledge of sediment investigation, dredging, disposal, capping, and treatment methods, natural recovery, river and estuary restoration and associated state and federal regulatory requirements. Experience relating to contaminated soil, groundwater, water treatment, and storm water management is also desirable, as are proven project management, regulatory negotiations and business development skills. Responsibilities may include site characterization studies, feasibility studies, numerical modeling, engineering analysis, preparation of design plans and specifications, permitting support, construction monitoring, and project management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
