ASCE Names Principal Engineer Barry Kellems a Life Member

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has recognized Integral Principal Engineer Barry Kellems, P.E., as a life member, extending the Society’s appreciation “for a lifetime of dedication and service to the profession of civil engineering.” With more than 30 years of consulting experience, Mr. Kellems specializes in environmental remediation of contaminated sediments, groundwater, and soils, and serves as project manager/engineer for design and implementation of remedial action projects. He also performs stormwater and wastewater management at industrial facilities. Recently, he served as Engineer of Record for design of the engineered cap to manage contaminated sediments for the Mission Bay Ferry Terminal project for the Port of San Francisco. His project experience also encompasses waste management and environmental compliance at industrial facilities, including development of plans for spill prevention and waste minimization.
A nonprofit organization, the ASCE develops and publishes standards used by civil engineers and has more than 140,000 members worldwide.
