Materials Characterization, Marigold Mine

Integral geochemists, under prior employment, performed materials characterization using a sequential column test method to evaluate potential for groundwater impacts from placement of a proposed reservoir and/or channel diversion on Trout Creek. The sequential column test was designed to evaluate the validity of conventional modeling approaches that compound leachate concentrations as the first flush is propagated numerically through mine materials. The sequential column test indicated that upper-bound solubility constraints exist that can be used to modify the modeling approach to more realistically represent potential solute release.

This project reflects Integral staff experience gained under previous employment.
