Puget Sound Dredged Material Management Program—Site Characterization and Monitoring
Since the 1980s, Integral scientists have provided technical assistance for federal dredged material characterizations and the Puget Sound Dredged Material Management Program throughout western Washington. Work involved surface and subsurface sediment sampling programs, chemical and biological testing of sediment, crab surveys in Grays Harbor, and identification of new chemical contaminants that may pose bioaccumulation risks.
