Novel Approach to Identifying Environmental Management Priorities to be Presented at NCASI Meeting

Integral ecologist Damian Preziosi will be presenting a paper at the National Council for Air and Stream Improvement (NCASI) Northern Regional Meeting to be held May 12–13, 2010 in Portland, Maine. His paper, titled “What Matters? Approaches for Identifying Environmental Management Priorities at the Watershed-Scale” will be presented during the Water Quality technical session on May 12. Using examples from watershed-scale studies Integral conducted for the Delaware Estuary, New Jersey Meadowlands, and Galveston Bay, Mr. Preziosi will discuss the current state of the science for assessing and prioritizing diverse environmental stressors and show how the use of appropriate technical tools can lead to more informed decision making.
