Randi Wexler of Integral Consulting Inc. will be presenting a session on sediment evaluation and remediation at the Advanced Sediment Conference in Portland, Oregon on November 18, 2008. The conference, sponsored by the Environmental Law Education Center, will include speakers on sediment evaluation, remediation, dredging and disposal, sediment policies, laws and regulations, and technical strategies.
Ms. Wexler, jointly with Kris McCaig of Teck American Incorporated, will present information on the following topics:
• Determining the Cleanup Standard with a Marine Dataset
• Working through the Regulations: Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, Environmental Cleanup and Other Laws and Regulations
• Case Study: Successful Sediment Remediation and Habitat Restoration in Coos Bay.
