Ann Bradley, of our Annapolis, Maryland office, has recently been elected program chair, and president elect for the National Capitol Area Chapter of the Society for Risk Assessment. As program chair, Ann is helping to plan and coordinate workshops, lectures, and other events that will bring forth emerging issues in risk assessment and serve the needs of local chapter members. Ann is currently working on a team with the National SRA to plan a public forum on the Office of Management and Budget’s Proposed Risk Bulletin. The purpose of this forum, to be held in Washington DC, will be to consider and discuss the implications of the proposed bulletin on technical aspects of risk assessment, as well as within the broader context of risk management and risk communication.
